As Mark Radcliffe takes up the reigns of the Folk Show on BBC Radio 2, its former host has launched a folk music podcast.
New host Mark Radcliffe has presented several shows on Radio 2, and performs in his own band, The Shirehorses. More recently Mark Radcliffe has presented Sky Arts’ coverage of the Cambridge Folk Festival.
Mike Harding completed a fifteen year run on the Folk Show at the end of last year, and has launched a new weekly podcast. The Mike Harding Folk Show podcast launched on 30th December with the first episode containing tracks by Frankie Laine and The Mighty Doonans.
The Folk Show with Mark Radcliffe is on BBC Radio 2 every Wednesday evening from 7pm. This week’s show included a session with Karine Polwart.
