During September and October, 80s music star Howard Jones will host a Sunday evening show on Absolute 80s featuring some of his favourite music.
Listeners will also be able to download a free MP3 track each week, taken from a live session recorded at the Absolute Radio studios. The original tracks feature new material, and interpretations of previous hits.
The free tracks can be downloaded after completing an online form on the Absolute 80s website.
Other 80s musicians to appear on the station this autumn include Owen Paul, who hosts a two show special titled ‘My Favourite Waste of Time’, and Deacon Blue, Kim Wilde and the B52’s will be heard in feature interviews.
