Annie Mac is set to return to BBC Radio 1 this month. She’ll start the weekend at 7pm on Friday evenings, beginning 13th September, with new dance music.
After four months on maternity leave, Annie will also return to her Sunday night show from 10pm.
Carnival vibes will come to Radio 1 at 2am on Mondays when B.Traits starts a new show, and Monki will permanently present every Sunday night from 2am.
Meanwhile, Moxie will join ‘In New DJs We Trust’ as a change to the schedule of specialist music DJs. Her first show will be this Thursday from 9pm, with up front club music with groove, rhythm and soul.

I grew up listening to the station with presenters such as Mary Anne Hobbs and Gilles Peterson shaping the way I listen to music.
