The BBC has announced that Anna Foster will be the new permanent co-presenter alongside Peter Allan on Radio 5 live’s drive programme.
Anna Foster and Louise Minchin have alternated presenting duties alongside Peter Allan since Aasmah Mir left the station last November.
Anna Foster has been with the BBC station since 2005 and co-hosted the station’s digital Olympics Extra station last year.
I’m delighted to be joining the team and working alongside one of the country’s great broadcasters in Peter.

BBC Radio 5 live drive broadcasts weekdays from 4pm to 7pm. Aasmah Mir can occasionally be heard presenting Women’s Hour on BBC Radio 4.
