New schedule begins on Virgin Radio UK

New programmes form part of Virgin Radio UK’s schedule from this week as the station unveils its latest presenters.

Former Absolute Radio and Virgin Radio presenter Geoff Lloyd hosts a 6pm to 10pm show, Monday to Thursday, with an ‘evening soundtrack to keep you company into the night’. Geoff Lloyd hosted the Pete and Geoff breakfast show with Pete Mitchell on the original Virgin Radio station, which became Absolute Radio, in the 2000s.

Fun Lovin’ Criminals frontman Huey Morgan will host a new weekend show from 10am to 2pm, bringing listeners ‘the perfect weekend playlist of 90s, 00s and bangers live from the Top of The Tower’. Huey Morgan hosted a show on BBC Radio 6 Music between 2008 and last year, as well as programmes on BBC Radio 2.

Ana Matronic will open ‘up her record collection with the perfect Saturday night mix’ from 6pm to 10pm. Known as a member of band Scissor Sisters, Ana Matronic formerly presented a weekly programme on BBC Radio 2.

Goldierocks will play the ‘very best 90s, 00s and bangers to keep you going through the night’ from 10pm on weeknights.

The station continues to feature Chris Evans at breakfast, followed by Emma B and Ben Jones.

A number of presenters departed the station in 2025, with Ryan Tubridy finishing his daytime programme that aired on Virgin Radio UK and Q102 in Dublin on weekday mornings.

Virgin Radio UK is operated by News UK, which also broadcasts talkSPORT and Times Radio.
