Jerry Springer’s tales and tunes come to talkRADIO

American talk show host Jerry Springer is bringing his podcast to talkRADIO.

Described as offering the “very best after-hours conversation”, the podcast is recorded at a coffee shop in Kentucky. He’s joined by co-hosts Jene Galvin and Megan Hills from his former radio show. On the show they discuss news, politics, their own lives and feature folk and roots music.

The show will differ slightly for a UK audience from the podcast which is released every Tuesday.

Jerry is a former mayor, television news presenter and host of America’s Got Talent, but is best known for The Jerry Springer Show, which began its 25th season last year. Born in London he moved to the USA as a child, but has maintained a connection with the UK. His US show was syndicated in the UK in the 1990’s and early 2000’s and he’s appeared as a guest on shows from Who Do You Think You Are? to Countdown.

It was announced earlier this year that he would be covering the US presidential election for ITV’s Good Morning Britain.

Jerry Springer’s Tales, Tunes and Tomfoolery can be heard every Saturday night at midnight on new digital radio station talkRADIO.
