Bold and inspiring women to feature in new talkRADIO show

A new show on talkRADIO features bold and inspiring women from fashion, design, business and music.

Journalist Harriet Minter entrepreneurs Natalie Campbell and Emma Sexton react to the biggest talking points on ‘Badass Women’s Hour’.

Minter, Campbell and Sexton said: “We’re all firm friends, and feel it’s important to bring those real conversations that women have over dinner, drinks and in private out into the open in a more honest and badass way. The show will be funny, frank and fearless – just like we are, and we can’t wait to get started.”

Harriet Minter is a broadcaster and journalist specialising in women and work. She is a columnist for the Guardian on women in technology and founded the Guardian’s Women in Leadership section.

Entrepreneur Emma Sexton is the founder and creative director of design business Make Your Words Work. She is also the co-founder of collaborative network for entrepreneurs Flock Global. Natalie Campbell is the co-founder of social innovation agency A Very Good Company (AVGC).

The first show of the new series aired on Saturday, discussing Donald Trump, women in the media and new year’s resolutions.

talkRADIO is one of several new digital radio stations which launched almost a year ago. Other presenters on the station include Paul Ross, Julia Hartley-Brewer, Jon Holmes, Iain Lee and Eamonn Holmes. On weekends a number of programmes are dedicated to specific topics, such as a show about homes with Martin Roberts from Homes Under the Hammer.

“This show is a really exciting development for us and we’re really pleased to have Harriet, Natalie and Emma on board to bring their ideas and contacts to the station,” said Dennie Morris, managing editor of talkRADIO.

“In true talkRADIO style, the show will cover the topics that everyone’s talking about and will be a fantastic listen.”

The second episode of the new show airs tomorrow, Saturday 21st January, at 8pm.
